What jamburgr is.
jamburgr is a small Python script and a friendly mascot. It generates Standard MIDI files in 42 different musical styles, so you can drag the notes into your DAW and start a song without staring at a blank piano roll for an hour.
Why it exists
A lot of music tools try to hand you finished audio. jamburgr sits in the middle ground: it's a pre-DAW idea engine that respects that your sound design is the art. The notes are the snack; your synths are the meal.
What's MIDI-only mean
jamburgr writes .mid files and Markdown notes. Never audio. It can generate editable General MIDI drum lanes, but those are still notes — you supply the drum rack, sampler, or hardware. Drag the files into Ableton or any DAW, then reach for Drift, Wavetable, Operator, Drum Rack, your favorite third-party synth, or an external hardware route.
